Aquacine is a quaternary ammonium compound with exceptional microbiocidal properties for use as a disinfectant, sanitizer, deodorant, germicide and algaecide in Aquaculture.

Aquacine is a cationic surfactant used as "topical disinfectant" to remove ectoparasites from fish, prawn and shrimp. It has detergent and antibacterial activity and is effective to treat bacterial, protozoan and monogenean infections. It is also recommended as bactericides and fungicides in shrimp hatcheries. Widely used in shrimp ponds to control infections.


Aquacinedue to its stronger cationic detergent activity, not only triggers the moulting activity in shrimp and
     prawn but also controls pathogenic microbes.

Aquacine is a strong cationic bactericide, finding wide range of applications in aquaculture.

Aquacine is very effective in control and prevention of all bacterial and fungal diseases in Aquaculture.

Aquacine is advocated for effective control of antenna rot, tail rot, gill rot, red gill, black spot, red discoloration
     and muscle necrosis in Prawn and Shrimp.
Aquacine is also advocated for effective control of bacterial infections such as gill rot, tail rot and fin rot and
     for effective control of Fungal attack on gills and body in fish culture.

Aquacine is advocated for prophylactic treatment of surface ulcers, wounds and lesions in fish culture.

Aquacine  provides additional detergent action which is very important in the treatment of fish diseases.
  Aquacine is particularly useful in treating external bacterial infections such as Bacterial Gill Disease (BGD) 
     where myxobacteria are multiplying within a film of mucus on the gills. The dual action of Bionex inhibits
      bacterial growth in Fish.
Aquacine  has a role, concurrently with specific oral antibacterial treatment, in generally reducing the bacterial
     loading in the water containing fish with bacterial diseases.
